## Who it is for

Each trade starts with its own units (for example lin ft, squares, sq ft, hours, windows) and a starter price list.

## What it does

- Seven job stages: lead, site visit, estimate, approved, in progress, invoiced, paid
- Estimates built from line items with quantity, unit and rate
- Client approves an estimate from an emailed link on their phone
- Deposit invoice issued automatically on approval (percentage set per job)
- Change orders, including negative amounts for credits
- Progress invoices as a percentage of the revised contract
- Final invoice equals revised contract minus everything already invoiced, so the balance closes at $0.00
- GST, PST or HST added per invoice based on the company's province
- PDF estimates and invoices with a signature line
- Email sent under the company's name, or from the company's own domain on a subdomain (works alongside Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)
- Client email replies filed on the job
- Roles: owner, office, crew (crew do not see prices)

## Worked billing example

Contract $10,850.00 + approved change order $850.00 = revised contract $11,700.00.
Deposit 30% of contract: $3,255.00. Progress bill 25% of revised contract: $2,925.00.
Final invoice: $11,700.00 − $3,255.00 − $2,925.00 = $5,520.00. Owing after final: $0.00.
